Our flagship product "Visible Logistics" has been renamed to "ViewPoint Logistics". Please note that this change is for trademark purposes only and that MAVES will continue to provide the same quality software and support that our customers have come to depend upon.

What are HighViews?
Perhaps the most powerful feature of the ViewPoint Logistics Environment is its browser-based HighView technology. HighViews and Action Grids embody the concept of Reportless Operations, delivering electronic business intelligence and management in a form that you can easily understand, and immediately interact with. No custom development, no third-party packages, and no SQL programming knowledge required.

HighViews harness all the functionality of the MAVES 3PL suite within a common visualization environment and transforms it into a data-rich control center. The role of each Action Grid in ViewPoint Logistics is to channel all critical operational and management data through user "viewpoints" (gate keeper, RF operator, customer service, etc.) to enable better supervision and response times, and to improve the quality of the decisions you will be making as a result. HighViews are not your typical spreadsheet or static report ...
With HighViews, the data itself represents a user-defined interface, where each action grid provides direct access to both the data source and the next steps in your 3PL operation.

Integrated 3PL Framework
At the heart of the ViewPoint Logistics environment are the core applications (Jobs) for managing the storage, handling, distribution, and transportation of material in the supply chain. This integrated framework provides you with the functionality within the HighViews / Action Grids layer to enter, modify, calculate and retrieve all the data generated by your multi-client 3PL operation:
WMS - Warehouse Management System provides inventory and operational management in a true MC3PL environment. Relationship profiles are company, distribution center, and client specific, which make it possible to handle each client's operations and billing requirements in uniquely different ways.
TMS - Transportation Management System provides shipment and operational management in the same MC3PL environment. Relationship profiles exist at the company, branch (or terminal), client, carrier partner and consignee levels. Flexible definition of locations, zones, regions matched with driver and equipment tracking support a powerful, flexible dispatch function. Again, these profiles make it possible to handle each client's transportation and billing requirements in uniquely different ways.
FMS - Financial Management System provides MC3PL–specific financial modules for handling General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable requirements.
Auxiliary Components: Built-in VL functionality includes e-Docs, AutoScheduler and support for RF scanning, EDI trading partner communications, cross docking, assembly/disassembly, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), foreign trade zones (FTZ), as well as the bonding and excise/taxation reporting requirements associated with beer, wine and spirits.
Browser-Based Interface: With ViewPoint Logistics, all operations and management/analytical functions are accessed through a user-friendly menu system that can be configured to suit each user's workflow and security level. MyLogistics Client Portal
MyLogistics extends the power of HighViews and Action Grids to the 3PL Client (Trading Partner) so they can review their own stock levels, track inbound and outbound orders, and generate reports. Plus, they can access the same analytic tools to optimize inventories, reduce costs, and satisfy their own customer objectives. Refer to the MyLogistics topics page for further information.
