Business Benefits

A Warehouse may wish to have its own range of In-Transit Receipt numbers in order to provide better tracking of Receipts. This program allows these numbers to be set up and maintained.

Usage

Use this job to set up In-Transit Receipt number ranges.

The system requires a generic (GEN) code to be set up so that a range of valid Receipt numbers may be maintained.

Preconditions

Determine what the In-Transit Receipt number range should be.

Subsequent Actions

These In-Transit Receipt numbers are used in program RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts].
