Business Benefits

Once Invoices have been generated, printed, and sent to your Clients, the information has updated the required files once you run program IP.90 [Regi ster - Shipments]. The Invoice detail information is no longer required and may be safely removed from the system. This program deletes the completed Invoice information to make room for new entries.

Usage

Use this job to delete completed Invoices from the system.

Once selected and started, the program will run to completion unattended.

The amount of time required depends on the number of lines invoiced and the total number of open Orders, so this Job may take several hours.

Print: There is no option in this program to print the details of which Invoices were deleted.

Preconditions

This program should be run only after completing the end-of-day Register, using programs IP.33 [Shipment Register - Generate] and IP.90 [Register - Shipments].

Subsequent Actions

There are various end-of-day programs that must be run after printing the Register; typically the next one after this is program OR.23 [Inventory Adjustment Report].
